The Working Group for Ecological Economics and Sustainability Science (WGEESS) is an international group of SCB members who seek the incorporation of ecological principles into economics and economic policy-making for the purpose of biodiversity conservation. The featured issue for the WGEESS is the relationship of economic growth – increasing production and consumption of goods and services – to biodiversity conservation.
